Seoul in Its Splendid Colors

Night skies ablazed in colors!

Awesome fireworks painted the Night skies.

From.afar. it all seemed to be a dreamlike night to cherish.

Purple sparks with Seoul skylines at the back.

Red sparks joined in.the party as the night fiesta got warmer.

A mesmerizing view. . .worth-sharing.

A glittering reflection on the surface of Han River. . .

Simply splendid.

What a night!!!

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2015: the Main Event!!!

I was still walking trying to find a good spot when all of a sudden a popping sound cracked the night skies.

Without futher ado, I stopped walking, took out my camera. . .

And started clicking on my camera

Barely realized that just next to me. .there's this ㅠ sophisticated camera.

Way more sophisticated than mine...

And then I started to think.of.having one^^

♡anyway. . .I managed to take some pics

Of the fireworks on action.

And. .oh there's one more thing I noticed: yachts and boats were cruising on the river.

I bet they were full of the *haves* who managed to pay the prices set to.enjoy the night festival in its maximum joy.

As for most Seoulites, being crammed on the bridge . . .on the riverbanks. . .was the only option they had.But. . .hey. . .that's fun, too.

. . .except. .when I . .again. . .realized that. . .there's a real camera next to mine.ㅋㅋㅋ

Ok. . .there's a pause. An intermission during the show...enough to give me time to move into a less crowded lot.

Only to find that. . .there were more.oh well. ..the fireworks festival itself was a sheer delight for most.^^

And...I was one of those who did enjoy the night. 

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2015: Off the Grid

Apart from.enjoying the fireworks, I also happened to be enjoying the atmosphere around the venue especially along Mapo Bridge.

Lots of people were walking towards the bridge. . . (Not shown here)

Motorbikes packed a section of pedestrian just around the corner of the bridge.

Hm.m.m.one thing's missing: nggak ada tukang parkir!^-^ just like what I normally find in Indonesia^^

☆ok . Back on the bridge. . .people spread some thin mattresses. . .or mats. . .to sit on while waiting for the fireworks to start.

As for me, this was way more interesting. I mean I could sense the spirit of joy and festivity simply by looking at them.

Hm mmm. . .the police were the ones who were extra busy since they had to make sure that the event went smoothly and peacefully.

Again. . .I was absorbed into the sheer joyous atmosphere of the night.

Ok. Thank God. . .the festival ran as planned.

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2015 (part 1)

With a camera on my hands, I was strolling along Mapo Bridge...

...enjoying the sunset....just before the fireworks began.

 

It's a worthwhile feat to walk 5 km back and forth. . .to capture these images.

Oh. .I just found out that along the bridge there are some words deliberately written every 1 meter. . .

Some say to prevent people from being suicidal by jumping off the bridge.

...but I thought of it as a way to keep passers by amused!!!!^^

On and on. I KEPT on walking. .savoring any scene I encountered.

Traffic started to accumulate.

And. .I was ready for the worst. .or best of the night since thousands of people were jammed packed into the surroundings.

But...I had an affirmative feeling that it's just gonna be just fine...as I kept on clickin on my camera.

Rejoicing each time I saw the Han River. . .overlooking Youido beyond.

Oh. .one more thing.. I just realized that there were a bunch of yachts and private boats with *the haves* on board...having parties. . .during the fireworks festival.

Wow. . .what a different world up and beyond.^^
