Dusk Over Seoul Viewed from A Hill in Itaewon

On the 2nd floor of the Seoul Central Masjid terrace...I managed to view the dusk..over the horizon..though...of course..the horizon would be ....unlikely to be seen....^^

The panoramic view over the sky right after sunset....from where I was standing.

Kept on looking to find some more nice spots to see...

and..from the hill where the Masjid was.....I could see a blurry image of Seoul at night...with the unmistakably towering Lotte Tower the 555-meter high tower soon to be the tallest building in Seoul.

Then...off I steered my camera away from the high rises of Seoul...and zoomed into the low rises part of Seoul.....but..that's not what I loved..it's the fact that...sunset really gave me a chill.

Itaewon...At A Glance...

The Line Friends shop....glowing at night. It's darn expensive...surely. bUt,...if you're really into these friends...why not chip into it?

One of the delicacies we love..is Turkish delights....and we love going here. Again..it's a bit expensive compared to other...but worth-it. 

Another look into the Line shop.

On the left side...wanna have some sin bin? or to the right..wanna dip into something Indian..like Indian cuisine to satisfy the tummy?

Oh..I just learned about the upcoming MATAHARI musical show...as advertised on these neon banner in Itaewon.

Ok...got to rush home. These are the pictures I randomly took on my way to subway station on my way home after a visit to the Seoul Central Masjid.

Hyundai Card Music Library...that I Can NOT go into....ㅠㅠㅠ

Right...simply because I don't have the card...^^

So..I just might as well take the picture while passing this enticing library.

It's located in Itaewon...and ...boy..I wish I could go inside and splash myself into the realm of the collections that I learned....got to be one of the complete ones in Seoul.

But..again..it's only a dream. I wonder.....

Itaewon Cruising...

On the pedestrian walk at the main street of Itaewon we can.see.numerous countries' ways of greetings.

This one I took picture of....is from Romania.

We didn't go anywhere...but....ended up warming ourselves up at the McD.^^

Nothing to celebrate....just being there to eat and again...warmed ourselves up.

BB8 was also....oops ...his head off!

...walked down the back alleys of Itaewon only to find that the area turned out to be cool to explore.

Lots of cool architecture....to look.at. and to enjoy. Facades of cafes and stores could be the attraction in itself.

Fancy pub...restaurants....you name it.

...and if you got enough time....just get yourself lost in the maze of Itaewon.

Seoul Masjid @ Itaewon on Friday Dec.25, 2015

It's a Xmas holiday and that means lots of people were able to attend the Friday prayer....^^

What I mean is that....Muslims in Korea...especially those working in the factories cannot attend the prayer weekly... 

...due to the loads of work or some restrictions....

...but...today was holiday...so..

Omg....subhanallah....lots of people turned up at the Mosque.

...the blue sky adorned the already festive atmosphere.

...and.. me? Yup....I came to the Masjid only to.find that it's so full and crowded....

...so the only available space was on top of the roof at a nearby building wuthin the Masjid complex.

...and that's why I managed to take these pictures from different angles.^^

...managed to see the throngs of jamaah dispersing out of the Masjid onto the narrow alley in front of the Mosque.

I think it's a blessing in.disguise.

I loved to be able to enjoy the clear blue sky....and the chilling weather.

Line Friends...part 3

Up to the 3rd floor of the store...

...and here's the highlight:

We bumped into another attraction. ...cool enough for photo spot.

...where lots of Line friends were present.

...oh...this 3rd floor was actually a cafe....but we just went up there...

...time to go down onto the lower floor again...

....and an ambience of the place looked more cozier...

...with corners full of little surprises.

...like this protruding Cony...out of nowhere.

...entering the store with no expectations...but ended up buying 6 different characters!!!

Luckily the kids knew that they're not allowed to buy expensive stuffs.

So....it's one of the most bargain....inexpensive....affordable ones.

Okay...time to go home, then.
