Minion on the Bus

Yup...this bloatable....squeezable. ...minion was attached on the T-Money card reader on the bus.

Bundang ~ Seoul: by Bus

I got no choice but having to take a public bus from AKS to Seoul since the bus I should've taken on....left early...without my knowing...ㅋㅋㅋ but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. 

I was sitting on the front seat and kept on talking with the bus driver...not not me..but the bus driver kept on making conversation with me along the way until I got off at Apgujeong.!!! 

Really enjoyed the scenery, though.

Especially...since I could see Seoul from a different angle...

never had I seen Seoul from this part of the city before. 

The not-yet finished Lotte Tower in a distance. 

The bus was passing through a highway from where this panoramic view was clearly visible. 

Not to take as many pictures as possible would be a loss.!! so, I did for sure. 

kept on going...so did my conversation with the bus driver. *though, I was a bit nervous since I knew that driver and passenger should not engage in any conversation...especially a long one like what we had. 

But..I learned quite a lot from him...to get deeper perspective about Korea from his eyes. I learned about his family, his view on his own country, his view on Indonesia, and other issues he touched upon. 

ok...it's Apgujeong..and... 

I got to take of..and before the bus disappeared...I took a snap of the bus whose driver was kind enough to be a good company during my 1-hour ride back to Seoul.

Gangneung Trip (part 2)

We were trapped on the bus for about 4 hours. It was supposed to be 2 hour 40 minute trip..but since it was a loooong weekend, highway did not seem to help us speed the travel up. We barely move 1 km for 20 minutes! Gee....  we're practically 'standing still' on the road.^^Luckily we could always do something to entertain ourselves. 

As for me, taking pictures is a must. Although it's summer with all of the greenery dotted the landscape...nothing special, compared to Autumn or winter^^, yet it's a great way to spend the trip on the bus. 

As for the kids, they behaved well enough...and not to be cranky with the fact that we're somewhat 'trapped' in the middle of highway.  

Finally, at about 1 pm..gee..4 hour trip from Seoul to Gangneung...we made it. 

We arrived safely at the bus terminal...and then... 

looking at the map of where we were to decide how to get to the pension we reserved--> which turned out to be quite far away from the city center.

Daily Routine: Going to School by Bus

Today's Daddy's turn to take the gals to school. No..it used to be their Mom's. But since   I am having my summer holiday..I could easily swag along the morning rush...to take them to school even on Thursday morning. Well...Thursdays used to be 'morning-mare' + 'day-mare' for me due to my full-day hectic-ness. But not now.^-^

But...Summer holiday is in my hands. I have more spare time to do whatever I want and I could just sneak into and do stuffs I could never do on Thursdays.

Like what? hmm.....what could be more enticing for a movie-boy than....
