Jogja ~ Seoul Sept. 2015

Thanks to om.Didik...tante Yuni and Razqa....

For everything during our 5-day trip to Jogja. It's time to get back to Seoul again.

Check-in at Jogjakarta airport...

Yup....that's our plane....bound for Jakarta.

Boarding Garuda Indonesia....

At Jogjakarta airport....we could literally walk next to the plane we're about to fly with......before takeoff.

Safely arrived at Jakarta International Airport for a transit before departing for Seoul.

After 6 hour-40 minute flight...we safely arrived at Incheon airport.

Freya and Mama greeted us at the arrival hall. Thank you.

From Jogja to Seoul....with chocolate.

Staying @ Hyatt Regency Jogjakarta

Finally, after 7-hour train ride to Jogja, I was pampered by the luxuriously lush Hyatt Regency. 

Alhamdulillah, I could take a good rest at this hotel. (which is actually...just 3 km away from my house *chuckles*)

I arrived at around 5, checked in..and checked my room out which turned out to be quite good.

Had my own veranda.... *(yup, I've been in Seoul for almost ...4 years..and....visiting Jogja for a temporary short visit...was like a bliss and a bless, and...not to mention..how I got myself pampered in the hotel)

and other facilities which quite enough to pamper my fatigue of being exposed to the hustle bustle of the city.

What a great view down below....with its green lawn under the quintessentially tropical coconut trees.

 

Gee..I almost forgot that I come from Jogja myself...ㅋㅋㅋ what an irony. 

But really....having lived in Seoul for almost 4 years always makes me 'miss' Jogja in the tropics.^^  

And..to top it off....with an ample amenities that the Hyatt Regency provides....

what more could I expect from this? 

What a bliss.  

and...just take a look at this view. 

Or..having breakfast by the pool in the bright sunny morning in Jogjakarta. yes..Jogja Jogja Jogja. 

Hyatt Regency really spoils its guests. 

My 2-night stay at Hyatt did not let me take a dip into this invitingly invigorating swimming pool.^^ 

hmmm ...maybe next time.  

In the meantime...I cherish my stay at Hyatt Regency Jogjakarta..... 

...with its dream-like qualities... 

the picture does not lie. It's what it is. and...gee....how I always miss Jogja in the tropics.^^

Chinese Song Competition @ Amplaz

Was walking around and having a window shopping at Amplaz Mall when I encountered the Chinese Song Competition at the atrium. Well, since it was Imlek (Seollal), I could see why this festival was being held. 

The red lanterns that adorned the ceiling of the atrium seemed to greet everyone's attention (and heart) during the festivities. I just felt that I got to capture the moment so as to make it memorable. 

Gembira Loka Zoo (part 3): A Family Excursion

Got a chance to take a closer look at the orangutan. After the animal show, we got a chance to see Orangutan up close and personal :-). No, not personal...just a close look. This female orangutan is one of the orangutan in the conservation area of the zoo.

Then, off we went to the lake area where we're about to board the ship/boat. 

I just love the green and its surrounding. I am sure that it would just like any normal day in Jogjakarta for most of us. But, since we came from winter-freeze Korea with basically no leaves on trees....so, we're like..wow..this is so greeeeen. 

I mean..Jogja as a city (though small in size) could be proud of having this facility within a city. It's nestled right in the middle of the city..so it's also functioning as a LUNG for the city.
