A New Year's Eve Letter from Freya:-)

Finally, the Google Doodle that Freya had been waiting for finally changed its shape. The number 3 is now retiring and he looks to be out of breath from one-year job of dancing and prancing around. ^^. 

Can't imagine what number 1, 0, or even 2 feel!!! 

okay..this is what Freya drew. She was busy right before midnight...drawing this picture. Hmm..I didn't quite catch what she meant as she explained it all along. But...she did a great job of well..describing that each of us has our own room.  

And...I wonder what's the adjacent picture telling about. Anyway, I was amazed that she drew that and wrote the hangeul by herself. 

She even wrote this. Well, it's simple but...for a 5-year old who never gets exposed to formal learning of hangeul...she's kinda cool.

It's about midnight the shifting from 2013 to 2014. 

And...with the Google Doodle that looks to cute...especially with the anticipating number 4 to join in the party...I had a special menu for tonight: vegetable ramyeon. 

I wouldn't have been so eager to have this, had I not seen the ad which was so hilariously captivating. I mean...just look at it and the sheer simplicity and the mimic of the actors are really priceless.

What A Year!

2012 has passed us by and the memories that linger on for the kids have been great. We know that we must make the most of our time in Korea while we can. As for the kids, they are experiencing different landscape ranging from life in the city and of course, the different weather they have to encounter. 

But, all in all, they have been able to adapt themselves to the differences they are brought into. Eyra and Freya are experiencing cultural differences in style. What could be more exciting than letting them go and explore their surrounding?

The winter comes and goes. This is the 2nd winter for them. And...despite the fact that it is much colder than the last time's, it's pretty amazing to see how they cope with it. 

Picture below shows their first-ever Hangang-bike ride. Of course it was not during Winter. 

We cannot wait to have more splendid endeavors in 2013.

It's Been A Year ....Being Right in the Middle of This Neighborhood

This is exactly where we live. I took this picture from the 10th floor of my campus where I could see my home right in the middle of those buildings. Clamped or stuck in the midst of concrete jungles, full of housing complexes between two campuses. 

We moved to this neighborhood on December 2011 and it is now January 2013. Guess...it's officially a year or more....

Happy New Year 2013

It should be happy, right?
Well, yes...that's what everyone wants. No one wants to be sad--right?
In that sense, in the midst of minus 6 degrees Celsius, right inside my 2-room so-called small apartment, I am writing down this entry.
Last night..or to say...the last day of 2012: 31 Dec....we were spending the night with a bunch of friends in our home.

What could be more memorable than putting Eyra and Freya on their Hanbok^^ hehehehe.

No, actually they themselves wanted to put the hanbok on.

 We cooked our own food and talked through the night.
Eyra and Freya were wearing their Hanbok.
Well, instead of going out, we preferred staying in the house...since it was so cold last night.
We knew that it would be a pointless idea to go out since that would surely 'jeopardize' the whole night in the shivering freeze.
After all, spending the night at home turned out to be a great choice as well.
So, everyone....HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013

May all the blessings, the good things, the successful stories, the life-fully-lived come to life in 2013.
