Seoul Fireworks Festival 2013: Part 8 - the Exodus act. 2

We're still trying to make our way ..in order to reach the nearest subway station.

It took us to walk for about 30 minutes.........on the street which was deliberately opened for walking. Policemen were seen guarding the traffic.

It's so unusual.

On the left and right side of the sidewalks, a throng of people was swarming ....into the street.

Gee...what a night.

With our might, we finally reached Daebang station that would take us home...^^

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2013: Part 7 - THE EXODUS

No, the festival was not over yet. But, we decided to go home early otherwise we would be stuck in the traffic and the herds of people...

Even when we were moving out of the venue, some more spectacles to behold were on display.

TEmpteD? Nope. Look at the gleefully stunned spectators....

thousands or..wait.. just above a million of people was reported to be there.

Let's take a moment to 'immortalize' the night.^^

Eyra, Freya and their Mom. "Freya, are you tired, dear?" I guess so.

I thought that not many people would show up when it was 30-minute away from being over. But, I was wrong....completely. People had the same idea: going back home earlier...so....

we're also stuck in the throng of people...moving about on the streets..

Finally, we reached a rather walk-able road leading to subway station...

But....the situation was relatively the same everywhere.

This is the EXODUS of people ..leaving the Youido island.

We're like...gosh...how could we beat the exodus?

but, hey..we managed to get out of there, though.

so, for the time being...bye-bye Fireworks...till next year.:-) insyaallah.

Seoul Fireworks Festival 2013: Part 6 - War of Colors

The bridge was bombed with color. Yes, it looked like a bomb just dropped into the river next to the bridge. In fact, it so happened because the fireworks were shooting up from a floating ship on the river.

Red+White Sparks.

Conclave red dots and scattered red dots...adorned the black sky..

not so much, but okay-lah.

Seoul Fireworks Festival is designed as an invitational spectacle for fireworks experts from Korea, Japan, France, and other overseas experts....

63 Building with its Hanwa headquarter stood majestically in the midst of the crowds.

People sitting on the mat next to Han Riverbank. The night cruise ships were seen on the river. It must've been cool to be on that ship to enjoy the night fiesta.
