(너의 목소리가 들려) I Hear Your Voice: An SBS Drama that Captivates Me Lately

I am glued to my TV every Wednesday and Thursday Night each week. I can't put it down. I got to be right in front of TV to make sure that I catch on what the 'fuzz' indeed it is. I remembered accidentally turned on the TV and watched the first 10 minutes of the drama and had me hooked since.....

I love it so much that I even took snapshots of the drama's 10 episode last week. It was a rerun show on Sunday afternoon which to my joy..really made my day.

All in all...this drama encapsulates the thrills of legal battles imbued with ground-breaking twists in every episode that keeps me on the edge of my seat (in the comfort of home theater) in story-telling (well..at least to the best of my knowledge of enjoying K-Drama).

Life is Beautiful

인생은 아름다워 'Life is Beautiful' is 2010's SBS Drama that stirred nationwide phenomenon in Korea for its daringly emotional depiction and portrayal of coming-out stories between men of different families. Completely different from its American TV series concentrating on the same theme, this Korean drama had successfully captured the deepest emotional and its social implications of what it takes to ponder before, during, and even after coming out to the families where social and religious norms are relatively valued.

Pros and Cons did arise nationwide due to this heart-wrenching drama. Irrespective of the fact that this drama portrayed 'marginalized' theme, it turned out to be quite a big hit in Korea.
After being here again, I think it a good opportunity to take a look on how this drama still lingered on the minds of Korean people. It turned out that the two leading actors: Lee Sang Woo and Song Chang Eui had earned more and more recognition as great actors due to their unexpectedly captivating roles in this drama. Even the soundtracks are still a hit at the moment.
Hmmm....wonder as to why this was also a big hit back home.
