My Hotel "RAY" ㅋㅋㅋ

It was an unexpected and an unplanned trip...let alone..staying at a hotel.

We simply wanted to take the kids to the ice staking...in Incheon airport..

..when we decided to go to the nearest beach from the airport...to see the sunset..

..until we realized that it's too late to go back to Seoul...so we decided to stay over night...

when we bumped into this particular hotel...

whose name resembles mine...RAY^^

that's the simplest reason as to why we ended up staying at this hotel.

..which turned out to be a  good decision since we got a huge discount...

right..not many people went to be beach on Seollal, right? So, it's a great time to be in a hotel

after all...the view and the amenities were great considering it's not a star hotel.

but..we enjoyed our stay at the hotel..since it's a family suite for the price of a standard one.

It couldn't have been any prettier than this.^^ for its price.

Card Game at Home

It's a holiday...4-day holiday, actually. We just had our holiday one day earlier....so we practically just stayed at home....on the last day of holidays. One of the things we did was...card game...

It's a box of cards with pictures of cats and other eerily looking portraits of cats...

We did have so much fun at home...playing cards....

the best thing of what we did was that...we simply made an hour of our holiday..full of laughters and joy. Yup....we learned that..Freya was sooooooooooooo.................well, it's a good thing to learn other's characteristics through a simple thing like 'card game'

Tteokkuk in Seollal

The kids insisted that we ate tteokkuk or rice-cake-soup during Seollal since they wanted to make sure that their age is added one year more...^^ as a proof of their growing up.^^

So, their Mom finally made the tteokkuk at home. We're lucky to have the tteok as a gift..and the mandu (dumplings) from our friend as well...as a present, too.^^

Yup, we're celebrating Seollal completely since we officially ate the rice-cake-soup, too.

An Empty Seoul Station @ Night

I was going home from Ansan by subway..and later on found out that the train I was on....stopped at Sadang station which was still far away from home. So, got out of the subway station..trying to find the bus..only to find the only one bus no.502 heading towards Seoul Station transfer center. Okay..got it. Then...after about 20 minutes or so, I arrived at Seoul station...and luckily it was still opened..at about 01.20...I still had time to go inside and use the restroom^^..and boy..its' the first time ever that Seoul station was in its state of 'void' from people....^^

Yup...it's almost 01.30 am where the passengers gone..and no trains coming in or out of the station. It's a new feeling of being inside the busiest station in Seoul....with not many souls visible.

So..I took the chance to look around and take some snaps of it...while I could.^^

The people I saw were mostly the security in charge of keeping the station safe and sound.

Not a minute too soon...at about 01.30...there's an over-voice heard....asking us to exit from the station since it's going to be closed.

Yup, that's a new experience of being inside Seoul station...on Saturday, Feb.07,2016..when not many people were around.

To think that it's Seollal's holiday..!!

Home-made Brownies

What's the best day to start the first Sunday of Seollal long holidays? No..not yet the ricecakes...

But..it just so happened that the ingredients were there...that zapped! brownies....done.

Crown Full of Wishing Cards

Encountered this enormous crown specially designed for Lotte Avenuel visitors who may want to write their wishes on cards.

All floors of the mall were closed except the 7th-8th floor of Duty Free Shop. This one was opened since visitors could use this 1st floor to access other partly opened area of this gigantic mall....which has just been opened for 100 days!!! 

Mama wrote something on this card.
