Biking along Jungrangcheon!!!

It's a great early autumn afternoon with moderate temperature and wind....bearable enough for the kids to stroll....along the creek biking.

We stopped at several spots just to loosen up our legs and butts^^ Eyra and Freya took turn pedaling their bikes.!

But...as any other siblings may do....they were arguing over trivial stuffs...like what's the best grip on handlebar would be.^^

Stopped at some spots where we could just enjoy the scenery and di nothing but.....admiring the surroundings.

And....with different types of bikes for each of us....we began our holiday....cycling along the Jungrangcheon.....^^

Biking Through The Market!

We bumped into a vendor selling 화배기 hwabaegi....or what I used to eat back home in Indonesia: bolang baling!

Wow....didn't expect this at all. 2 for 1,000 won...that's great!

♡♡♡oh...we could ride our bikes through the alleys of the market! This is alley market or 골목시장.

And...that's what tempted us to go inside.

We encountered lots of stuffs...for sure.

...impressed by its cleanliness.

Opps..we stopped right in front of underwear shop!!!

Was....eye shopping. ...

....strolling along the lanes....

...until.we decided to give it a second round...

For our next visit.

Night Biking + Ice Cream!

Since it's a bit cool and breezy....and since I got some errands to do, I was thinking of going on a bike.

But....Freya insisted on going along with me.Well, we might as well take a night biking then.

The bike line in our neighborhood was just completed a few months ago. The idea of cherishing the moment came along as we were passing it through.

Freya did enjoy the time we spent biking. Oh....actually she's sitting on the front while I was pedalling the bike. She got numb but enjoyed it anyway.

. . What's a better way to end our journey? Ice cream.scooping.!!!

Right. . . Cookie choco plus green tea choco...

. .perfected the night.^^

Biking on Weekend: Repair the Bikes & Go!

One of the kids' bikes got a flat tyre...and they've been wanting to ride the bike since it's summer!

So...I let them take the bike to have it repaired at the nearest bike repair shop. 

It took about 15 minutes...including taking the unnecessary stuffs off the bike^^ it cost me 13,000 won all.

dada....the bikes were ready...and we're off to...

explore the neighborhood.... 

up...up...up....until we reached. ..

a 3-km long ride towards....

Taereung!!! Yup...I was walking right behind the kids.

and....it's our first time (although we live nearby) at this royal tomb of Queen Munjeong.

*weekend well spent.

다른 구까지 갔다 왔다

노원구에서 강남..어니....강남근처에 있는 구까지 자전거를 타서 갔다 왔다는 게....저 같은 사람에겐 너무 이해가 안 될 수 도 있지만 참..자랑스러운 일이죠. 자전거를 탄지 

5 개월이 되었기 때문이었단 말아다.

그래서 다른 구로 가면 보통 지하철이나 가 봤는데 아번엔 자전거로 갔다 보니 ....와오....신났다.

근데..문제는. ..그때 물을 안 가지고 갔으니까....어쩔수 없이...목이 마르거나 ..힘이 뚝뚝. .떨어졌을 때...그냥 어디서나 자전거를 두고 숨을 쉴 밖에 없었다.

아니면..그냥...멈추고 사진을 찍어서 아름다움을 즐겨 봤다. 여기에 있는 것처럼....자유롭게 새들이 노는게 직접 봐 보니....기분이 up!!!

Once I regained my energy back....here I came....

계속 페달을 밟았다.

my lovely..lonely..bike....in a great daY for biking. Near Hanyang Univ. Under the bridge.

처음으로 혼자서 자전거를 타서 여행을 간다.

Flyover. People. Hill. Rocks. Creeks.

I usually see this scenery from a car passing through the traffic. .....but that day was different. ..

I could see everything in one frame.

진짜 멋진 풍경이죠. 

매일도 볼 수 없는 자연 풍경인데....
