Wow...great to see it on the net haha....been a few months since the last time I went back home in East Java.

And..then..my favorite homestay in campus..Jogjakarta.

Oh...this winter...I miss the warmth of the tropics^^

Good Morning from the Coconut Trees

These coconut trees are at the back of my home in Kediri. Again.....I bumped into this picture when I was scrolling through my file. Of course....이건 언제 찍었는지는 기억하죠. 아침을 먹으러 잠깐 뒷마당을 보고 상쾌한 공기가 얼굴에 축축  붙여서 ...기억한다.

Hanger-Hanger

헌 옷걸이 걸려 있다. Yup...gantungan baju yang teronggok di belakang rumah. Again. . .out of the blue, I was looking at the pic of these unused hangers.

흠...참 이상하네.

지금 그때로인까? 

Or. . .somebody moved them somewhere?

Just being curious of this triviality in life.

Teh Botol Sosro

Found this pic in my file. Yep...again I remembered seeing these bottles at the kitchen back home in Kediri. I guess they've been there for ages^^. I mean they must have been stacked up there since the last time a family event ever took place. Hmm...wonder what or where they'll end up to be. Ok...about Sosro itself. . .hmm..it's always one of my most sought after tea.

Tungku Dapur!!!

Opening up my camera files and bumped into this picture. Yeah ..I remember taking this pic when I was home last September. It's indeed unmistakably the traditional cooking apparatus using firewood.

Even when my Mom uses gas stove, she still preserves this one at the backside kitchen to accommodate the need of cooking large-scale food during an event.

What a nostalgic way of cooking.

Maka di Jogja pun...

Di Kediri pun....sama. Eyra sama Lala dan eyang putri dan kakung....mkn bareng.

Yup....inilah ruang makan dg lukisan yg sejak kecil kulihat terpasang di sana.

*mkn apa? Hmmm...tempe pasti ada.ㅋㅇㅋ

Willy's Day Out

We took a dinner at Pizza Hut. Willy...my brother-in-law. ...had to manage ....taking us all in one car to the mall nearby.

Ok...we got our dinner. Slurpppp....done.

Then..it's time for shopping at Transmart. He had to handle two boys on a shopping cart. H.mm...^^

😑😑😑 and also.....

With blank face....he had to return to Pizza hut to ask two more balloons coz the two boys were fighting over a balloon!

..then...he had to drive us home, too.

Nasi Goreng Buatan Bapak

Our father made this special dish: nasi goreng.

Entah apanya....yg pasti...sangat enak dan seperti ada bumbu khas rahasia yg hanya Bapak yg tahu.^^

Terima kasih, Pak. Last week...I once again got the privilege to savor this priceless nasi goreng. 

Jalan~Jalan Naik Motor

We went to Brantas River which is just 5 km away from home. It's the longest river in East Java....and it used to be my playground, too.

Afterwards....we had a light?? Dinner.

Soto Branggahan...as it's called in that area.

And the station headmaster was giving a signal to the approaching train...

wow..we're all married with children!!!

@Borobudur Temple: my Mom and Dad. I remembered my Mom used to telling me about her trip with Dad. They looked so happy.

I vividly remembered this picture. It was Lebaran I guess in 1984! Me...with my parents, my auntie Sri, and cousins!!!!!!

Gee...what an extended family we were!

Agung, Wawan, Lini, Ries, Ita, Anna, Nana, & Sari. And..we're all married except one.

This is me and my bro, Wawan at Trate Village, at the garden of Pak Trimo's house. Pak Trimo was my Dad's friend. What I remembered about it was the fact that I actually didn't want to touch the banana tree.

Oh...I loved making cartoons or making sketches or comics. My brother and cousin were waiting for my next project....^^

SEPT 1985 ...I was at 5th grade of elementary school. We're having a trip to Jakarta by train.with our Dad.

I remembered visiting Pekan Raya Jakarta or Jakarta Fair at Monas Square. Oh...I just realized that a company named HUMPUSS already back then. 

We're on a light plane being displayed at the Fair.
