Dawn of the Planet of the Apes: OMG!! OMG!! OMG!!

I was helplessly shivering throughout the movie. It really captivated me down to my spines. It DID NOT fail me. In fact...I got to close my eyes...a couple of times due to its gritty intensity.

The action? wow...and the drama..yes..the drama...the intensity of the drama portrayed in the film is so powerfully on par with any great drama that worth our attention. 

I managed to see it on its first day of screening, July 10. It definitely worth-the-admission. Although most of the characters in the movie are motion-captured...I didn't find any single complaint..since they are so real. yes..flesh and blood. I felt like I was watching the real human and ape and other simian families mingle in one screen...doing their greatest rivalry and contempt against each other right before our eyes. 

I love the fact that this movie managed to bring the depth of what being human means and what being apes mean....and it brought us to think as to whether we are any better than our simian fellows!! 

All of the characters, the CGI, the story and everything IN the movie is what a summer blockbuster should be. Gosh..I highly recommend to anyone to go see this movie.

Oh, btw..if you haven't seen the 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' ..go see it, too. well, to get a glimpse of what the background story of this Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

I was left with AWE once the film was over.
I cannot wait for the next BIG installment of this franchise.

Summer's Blockbusters 'Drained' My Brain....^^

And these are just a few. As a movie freak, I couldn't put away my inner brain that keeps on kicking up to the point where I could not say 'NO' to movies. Yes, it's in my blood. Thankfully, I got membership card that gives me (somewhat) privileges to have some benefits out of the movie experiences.

In between classes, I squeezed time to WATCH them. ^^ what a movie freak. I admitted it.

No matter what the critics say on the net, it didn't budge me to retreat or change the way I set my eyes on particular movies. Why don't I watch independent movies, for a change?

I do occasionally. But, still...these summer blockbusters apparently seem to be the ones that got my 'money'^^

Godzilla're remake was a good start to anticipate the more and more coming movies.

And today..I watched Age of Tomorrow....and this one really blew me away.

and oh...yes..X-Men: Days of Future Past also hooked me on my seat. 

Ready..Get Set...Go..for more summer movies to come.

Ready to get my brain 'drained' and some money out...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

But of course...its' worth-it. 

The Dark Knight Rises @ Lotte Cinema

Summer Blockbuster? Yep, that's what I've been cramming myself into lately. 

The thing was that...there are lots of new movies pouring into the cinema that I cannot keep up with.

I did not have a chance to see the Amazing Spiderman when all of a sudden one month passed my by without leaving me any chance of watching it.

Then...Came Along Batman...

The only thing I could do so as not miss the chance of being zapped into the latest and last trilogy of Christopher Nolan's Batman was.........getting myself into the nearest theater in my neighborhood and cooled myself down for more than 2.5 hours....in the world of Gotham's city.

I loved the movie.

Now....being in Lotte Cinema watching The Dark Knight...

 has been one of the memorable highlights of my first week of fasting. ^^

Oh, gosh...does it mean that I could not refrain myself from worldly matter such as movie-infatuation?

Oh...NO.

Anyway...the Dark Knight will be ...

all remembered fully in full circle of my movie experience right here in Korea.
