백마고지역 / Baengmagoji/ White Horse Highland Station..^^

Baengmagogi Station. 백마고지역 in Cheorwon. 

Yes, it's the newest and the northern most station at the area. 

We took a rest before boarding the train that would transport us back to Seoul. 

Someone wanted to take a hitch on the train? 

The Northernmost point in the area. Yes, just look at the not-yet-completed railroad...!! 

This is indeed the attraction of the station.  

철마는 달리고 싶다. Yes, the train wants to continue its journey to the North. 

When will it be realized? hmmmmm 

for the meantime we could only enjoy being at the northernmost tip of Cheorwon. 

that links Seoul and Cheorwon.  

We seemed to be undeterred by the fact that this is in fact a 'dangerous' place.  

But it looks so peaceful and tranquil. 

and we want to have a peaceful situation here. 

It's around 4 pm in the afternoon and the train was not yet coming. 

So..again and again..let's take a moment to cherish our visit here.

Finally we were on board the train that took us back to Seoul.

The price of the train: 1000 Won!!!! What? that was so wickedly cheap. 

and for the children? it was only 500 Won. #surprised!

See the man in blue shirt at the back? He was the man who collected the ticket money ob board the train!!! Oh..I thought that this kind of mechanism no longer exists in Korea. But, it apparently does. Quite interesting, right? 

The kids were able to enjoy the scenery on our way home... 

until..they fell asleep........

Yes, it has been one of the most interesting journey we had.
