It is truly a time-honored tradition that dates back to somewhat distant in the past.^^
on September 27th, yes...the tent with lots of flapping flags over it was ready.
At about 6 pm, more and more people were pouring in. Drinks, food, desserts, main dish, snacks...even beer and wine were available.
Since each family brought the original recipe or the traditional food from each country, we had a colorful variety of food.
oops..the same picture.
Everyone's happy, for sure. Kids along with their parents gathered around the table full of anything we could imagine from a BBQ like this.
It's our 2nd BBQ party in the apartment since the first time we moved in almost 2 years ago. Hmm..this looked nice.
As night fell, more and more people came and went into the parking lot where the party was being held. Some were sitting and chattering, while the others were standing talking...
Others were simply sitting with their kids...
I guess..this is the only picture with me on it.
The plates began to be filled and refilled.
and....the idea of meeting one another was a great one, since we may not know who they really were although we're in the same complex. That's the er...too bad, eh?
that's the idea behind this so-called BBQ party.
but..where's the BBQ? It's at the other side of the corner of the party where I would not need to even come close to.^^
