Going to A Public Library for Children

Weekend.

No other plans but to take the kids out. (hey....IT IS a plan!!).
So, this time we went to a children's library @ Taman Pintar.
Eyra and Freya did have a time of their life:)






I mean..they did have a good time ....squatting, crawling, leaning back, walking, tossing the books around, readings, strolling through the alleys of books available.

I think this place is good enough for those who want to have something different for the children.
I mean...'tis a different place apart from the malls and playground where I usually take them to.
But hey....this Taman Pintar IS actually also a playground, too :) bummer.!!

The collection is not that great, though. Some books are old—a downside. But, at least they are all really good books for children. Books with pictures, vast reading room, free computers for kids to play interactive games, and friendly staffs are its positive sides. 

Some other kids were seen playing with the computers available. 

I could just relax myself while watching my kids searching through the books they wanted. As for me, I found it interesting that they even serve some magazine for parents. Wow, how thoughtful.

The management must have thought about it since folks like me wouldn’t just read those children books. It was good though that it existed.  However, had the place not been far from our house, we would’ve come there often. It is near downtown. Not that it is hard to reach—the Trans Jogja bus system stops and departs right in front of it—it is just it would need time to go there. Well, once a month or occasional visit would just do.
