So, July 26, 2011 marked the end of our program on Indonesian language and cultural course for GLE - PUFS students.
The four students came to our campus to participate in the 3-week program at Pusat Studi Korea UGM.
They made it!
First, I know that it must've been hard for them to be in the country where everything seems different from their own. But..that is the main idea. They had to learn and feel how Indonesian (especially Javanese in Jogjakarta) and more importantly the students here live and learn. They stayed at campus dormitory, they had to walk from dormitory to campus, ate Indonesian food, went to historical and tourism sites, made batiks, practiced traditional dance, and on July 26..they were wearing Indonesian traditional costumes during the ceremony of course completion.
