Busan: Family Trip (part 2)

The inside-feature of Mugunghwa, the train we took to Busan. It was a bit shaky so I could not hold my camera straight...but anyway...it showed a bit of the restaurant compartment...

This one...was a bit okay. I mean, it was an adjacent compartment where we were on board Mugunghwa. I did not expect to find this spacious space where passengers could place their bikes or any other mobile vehicles on board. (Bet 'tis allowable to do so)

Off we go. We went off out of the train at about 8.45. About 15 minutes late I presumed. It took us about 5.5 hours to take the train from Seoul to Busan by this Mugunghwa--economic standard (since the train stops at almost all stations in between)^^ but exclusive in service.

A bit tired, of course. we did not have yet our dinner...and we got to wait for our friend to pick us up at the station...

Keep the story short: we were now at our friend's home...our beloved ms. Kim MS who had been so kind enough to let us stay at her home..^^

Freya could not just take a rest...

They were so excited of being at another place...and I bet...they were looking forward to having another day...of adventures

Just like this one. The first day....(one and a half hour before the wedding reception of friends) of our stay in Busan...was a exotic morning walk beside the beach.

Walking up and through the hanging bridge overlooking a cliff...

It was near APEC Nurimaru House. Well, it was just a few meters away from the famous Haeundae Beach. We were lucky enough to be a bit patient of walking up towards the woods....and we unexpectedly found this spot.^^

A bit deserted beach ....but it is better off this way.

After a few mine walk...we were then...greeted by the looming sky scrappers of Busan. This one was none other than the sprawling hotels that dotted the beach line of Haeundae...

Ok, guys...a picture! A cloudy morning, but it was to our advantage since we may not need any sunglasses.....but we did^^

It may be a bit obscure of what it may look like. It was actually a statute of a mermaid. A crying mermaid. Legend has it that it used to be the very spot where a princess who turned into a mermaid or...a mermaid who turned into a princess.....or was it? was it about a princess who was waiting for her beloved prince?
Oh...gosh...I did not pay attention to the details....:(

Anyhow...back to our trip. We arrived safely at the beach down there....and the sand was white as it was promised on the brochure...^^

Eyra got the first chance to take the picture...

Then...again...this time..overlooking the city upfront..

THis TiME.....Freya came along....

Oh, did I mention that each of them brought along their own favorite doll? Eyra brought along her Nemo while Freya had her tiny hamster...

Now...with me..coming along.
