The third Friday of May, 2013. At around 3 pm and the sky was bright blue...a perfect combination to do the outing activity with the girls. We took them to War Memorial Museum in Yongsan, Seoul.
Freya...looked so excited. Gosh..I wonder why...^^
A daddy with his two girls ...put on a show.
* one more thing: one of the reasons as to why I took the girls here was because it was one of their class assignments.
Just look at this breathtaking view of the surroundings. Except the high-rise apartment at the back...this memorial indeed kind of reminds me of the one in Canberra.
Yes...the facade of that particular section indeed 'resemble' the one I saw. If I am not mistaken.
The park, the pedestrian lanes, the lake, the fountain, the ducks, and..once again..and again..the blue clear sky....with occasionally some clouds that dotted the sky...
were all...the splendid time to go out.
At the front facade of the Korea War Memorial..
Before entering the indoor museum...we were amused and the kids were enthralled by the appalling features of tanks, war planes, rockets, ships...that occupied the whole section of the yards...*this particular tank did move and make sounds..which to Freya's surprise...kept her 'nearly un-entertained'
She found it scary.
Then..off we went to the one of the planes displayed on the backyard where we could stroll and enter into one of them.
Surely the kids loved to be here.
*More on the stories later on later parts.
