Kediri (Part 2)
Since it was not an executive class, we got no AC,instead it was only a ceiling fan decoratively attached over over outr seatsJ. Yes, it happened that the only fan over our seat was seemingly unoperational (or else...should I say...broken?). well, that was the case.
But, the most important thing of all was the fun that my daughters had during the trip. They did enjoy having a kind of ‘picnic’ time on the train. We just ate all the snack we brought, we had fun playing with the drapes. Yes, you read it correctly, it was the drapes that my kids were playing with. The wind that was blowing throught the windows of our compartment was somewhat strong enough to move and flip over the drapes that it looked like it was hovering over us. So..that made the kids went crazy over it. They couldn’t just stop playing around with it.
......
We arrived at Kertosono train station (Stasiun Kereta Api Kertosono) at around 11.10 just to find that our train for Kediri had alreadly left about 15 minutes earlier. GoshL
We thought that we had just enough time to catch the Kediri-bound train. But, unfortunately, the train left ealier. Nope, it was not earlier than it had supposed to; and neither did our train. We just arrived on time as scheduled.
So..I later on learned that ....the Kediri-bound train was usually about 15 minutes ealier than the Sancaka train we rode on that day.
So, I had no other option but to call my sister to pick us up at the station which is actually about 35 km away from homeJ hehehe. But in about 30 minutes or so, she did manage to arrive at the station to pick us up. Great.
now...we are on our way to Kediri. home sweet Home.
