It was mother-daughter-son time. My wife and some of her friends got together with their children. No fathers were visible. They got a picnic to the beach and had the time of themselves. So, I got these pictures of Eyra taking part in a fun-game competition by the seaside.
On one part there was a competition where the kids must bring the marbles on the spoon while running or walking fast towards the finish line.
One another part there was a competition where the kids must put the pencil inside the bottle. The catch was that the pencil is tied or strapped with a string attached to the kids' hip. And to make it even more interesting to watch and more difficult for the kids to put the pencil into the bottles, they were not allowed to see how the pencil would be able to slip into the bottle. That was the challenge. Instead, the kids had no other choices but to take a peep or glance at the pencil as they were trying to put the pencils inside.!
One the other part there was a competition where the kids must fill up the bottle with as much sand as they could in a limited time allocated. Those who could fill the bottle up full were the winners.
Then, there was a competition where the kids must eat the crackers as fast as they could. The challenge was that the crackers were strapped on a string! And..with the breeze from the sea, the crackers were not that easy to grab; let along eating them.:)
I think Eyra did enjoy her time being with her fellow kids at the seaside while their mothers were having the relaxing time of their life by the beach.
Look like 'tis a great time, indeed :)
