Central Masjid at Itaewon, Seoul

I was once again there. it was also like a dejavu being here again. since I just finished the orientation day in the morning, so I could just go to Itaewon with my friend, wawan, to observe the Friday prayer--a must-do prayer for any Muslim men everywhere. I still do not know as to whether I would be able to skip classes for an hour every Friday to go to Itaewon to do this. But, I will find out about this.

So, we started our journey from HUFS (외대앞역)  to take the line 1 subway to Dongmyo (동묘앞역) and from there on we transferred to line 6 which would direct us to Itaewon station (이태원역). it took about 45 minutes to go there. So, I was kinda imagining myself rushing from my Korean class at one and then got myself into the subway, ran and dashed everything in between up until Itaewon....just to wonder as to whether that would give me enough time to observe the prayer. Bismillah.
Anyhow..it was such a kind of mixed feeling being there again. I met no one I knew, but I did make some new friends, then...after observing the prayer which was previously preceeded by kotbah in three different languages: Arabic, English, and Korean, we headed to an Indian restaurant to have biryani rice.:) one of my favorites.
it cost me about 5000 won which turned out to be a great taste. I loved it so much that I only ate half of it to save some for later:)
then...I bought ohhh..it was before that...I bought 161 international calling card so as to make me be able to call my mom back home...(I wish my mom had access to internet and then we would just SKYPE ourselves instead of calling by phone).
anyhow...it was a good thing and feeling that I was back to Seoul, especially at the Islamic Mosque.
Oh, I also got  a snap pic of Namsan Bus Tour, a specially designed bus for tourists who wanted to have a city tour. I think it was a pretty nice looking bus though.
