Hoegi Station Food Stall: A Different World Worth-Coming For

We went up to another intersection off the campus. Well, it turned out that we were actually heading towards another campus: Kyunghee University.
It was just another restless night due to the shivering cold weather.
But, funnily, instead of being in the room enjoying the warm cozy bed, we went out instead.
This time, we wanted to find the Daisho store, a store that 'notoriously' sells mostly stuffs priced at 1,000 - 3,000 Won. And it did.
We managed to find the store and thus spent 1 hour there. Out of questions, despite the fact that the prices were as cheap as 1,000 Won, still we paid a heap of money since we bought lots of seemingly useless stuffs, but....we bought them eventually. It was the shopping infatuated situation.
Wawan got to pay as much as !8,000 Won for trivial items. But, actually...it is still worth-visiting because you can find unimaginable things here at the unimaginable price as well: cheap so to speak.
Off we wandered to the shops approaching the main gate of Kyunghee only to find the shops were neatly arranged and uniquely displayed. Even they have 24-hour Burger King!! Ok, it is worth-coming for, next time.
On our way, we bought bungo ppang 붕어빵 'a gold-fish like bread-like snack' that only comes out during Autumn or Winter when the weather is getting cold. The weather was a nice additional touch to eating this bungo ppang.
I asked the ajumma who was selling the ppang as to whether I could take a picture of her with the ppang. She said yes...and this was it. A memory worth-remembering about.
Then, before we knew it, we felt kinda hungry that we got to find some place to eat. Since Wawan did not want to eat anything, but fish....we ended up in a restaurant that we found it funny in the first place. Too bad, I forgot the name of the restaurant.
We were intrigued by the cheap price 4,900 Won it offered as posted on the wall against the stairs leading to the door.
It turned out that it was a buffet-style restaurant that sold vegetables, tteok, ramyeon, and other sushi-like dishes. But there was a catch. We got to pay 5,900 Won first. The additional 1,000 Won was a necessary payment that functioned as a guarantee or so-called deposit just in case we could not finish up the meal/dish we ate there. Supposed we could not eat the food we took, then....the extra 1,000 Won is nondeductible! To make it worse, it was 09.15 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. How extraordinary that was!!!!
So, we backed off :)
